Kanoria Energy & Inf Q3 net profit down 66.12% at Rs 1.44 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.44 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 4.25 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 66.12 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 11.16 per cent at Rs 76.42 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 68.75 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.58 per cent to Rs 70.44 crore from Rs 59.91 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 87.50 per cent at Rs 0.15 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 0.08 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 32.35 per cent to Rs 5.98 crore as against Rs 8.84 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 39.07 per cent in December quarter.
Interest grew by 55.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.32 crore, while Taxation decreased by 71.86 per cent at Rs 0.47 crore (Dec'22 Rs 1.67 crore).
